Coming soon: The Bible Exhibition 10 – 14 June 2024

The  Bible Exhibition is coming to the heart of Malvern on 10th to 14th June 2024, showcasing at The Mt Pleasant Hotel, Belle View Terrace and it is something not to miss. It is a remarkable display that delves into the extraordinary nature of the Bible. Whether you consider it the Word of God or not, this book stands out for its uniqueness. Here are some fascinating facts about the Bible that the exhibition highlights:

  1. 66 Books: The Bible consists of 66 individual books.
  2. 40 Independent Writers: These books were penned by 40 different writers, each with their own perspectives and backgrounds.
  3. 20 Different Occupations: These writers spanned 20 different occupations, from shepherds to kings, fishermen to prophets.
  4. 10 Different Countries: The Bible’s authors lived in 10 different countries, yet their writings harmonize across time and place.
  5. Over 1,600 Years: The Bible’s composition spanned an impressive 1,600 years.
  6. 2,930 Characters: Within its pages, we encounter a cast of 2,930 characters.
  7. 1,551 Places: The Bible’s narratives unfold in 1,551 distinct locations.
  8. Diverse Literary Forms: It covers a wide range of subjects and genres, including poetry, prose, history, prophecy, and more.

Men like William Tyndale recognised the Bible’s exceptional nature. They were willing to sacrifice their lives so that others could read it for themselves. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the Bible’s place in history, its survival through the ages, its accurate descriptions of past and future events, and its unique message.

What will you see in the Bible Exhibition?

The Bible Exhibition has five sections that answer five questions:

  1. Why should we trust the Bible? It suggests 3 reasons: its amazing preservation over the centuries; the findings of archaeologists which support the Bible record and the fulfilment of Bible prophecies.
  2. What is the Bible all about? The Exhibition takes you through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation to show how each Book fits into one Big Theme.
  3. Why do you need the Bible? Because it tells us God intends to set up His Kingdom; reveals what He promises us and what He wants from us in return; and how we should live.
  4. How can we learn more? Advice about Bible translations and the ways we can help you to understand the Bible for yourselves.
  5. Who are the Christadelphians? A brief overview of who we are, what we believe and what we do.

Our aim is to encourage you to read and understand the Bible for yourselves.

With all that’s going on in the world around, these are sure signs that Christ’s return is near. “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust.” Psalm 91:2

Christadelphians are a part of a worldwide Bible-based community who share a common belief in one God – the Creator of heaven and earth, in His son the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Bible – the inspired Word of God.

How are Christadelphians different from other churches?

We firmly believe that to worship God in the right way, we must get back to true Bible teaching and actively try to apply it in our lives.  Many modern and established churches today have compromised true Bible teaching with popularity and current thinking, but the thing is God doesn’t change!  God asks us through His Word to understand his purpose with the world and with Israel, to follow the example of His son Jesus in obedience and faith becoming baptised, and to live lives in preparation for Christ’s return and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth.
